As a Congressman for Georgia's Tenth Congressional District, I will use my experience in business to bring new ideas to Washington that will help improve the lives of everyday people – like the people I have worked with over the past 20 years, and the people I grew up with. Over the course of this campaign, I look forward to presenting common sense solutions on a range of topics including:
- Supporting our troops by giving our brave military men and women the tools they need, while working toward the quickest possible honorable end to our involvement in Iraq
- Fixing the shameful condition of the care we provide for our returning veterans – especially those who have been wounded
- Providing access to quality health care for working families
- Creating quality jobs in the Tenth District
- Making the United States energy independent
- Returning fiscal responsibility to Washington, so we stop borrowing in our children's name from places like China
- Securing our borders and enforcing our laws against illegal immigration, including the laws against hiring illegal immigrants
- Creating a renaissance and renewal for small towns and communities and making sure that small farms and new internet businesses can sell to the world
- Protecting North Georgia from overdevelopment and preserving the quality of our air and water
